It's pumpkin carving, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin latte season!  I recently left a listing appointment and my clients wanted to know if listing right before the holidays was a bad idea. In my experience, timing a listing is primarily about the sellers needs and schedules and not the calendar month. For these clients, we decided to wait until the new year since they will have family in town. For another client who has already moved, we will list their home this month.
