Full of flowers blooming, sunshine, and new seeds are sewn into the fabric of our lives. April showers bring May flowers … & some home maintenance tips! With the weather too nice to be stuck inside, most of this month’s home maintenance to-do list focuses on getting the outside of your home ready for summer picnics and barbecues. Clean garbage disposal: One great way to do this is using baking soda, vinegar, and hot water. You can also use ice cubes and lemon peels for a fresh scent!  Service air conditioner: Set up a visit with a licensed HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) professional to inspect and service the air conditioner. By doing this early you can avoid any issues before the summer heat hits!  Clean glass on windows and doors: There are many retail store options for glass cleaners or if you'd prefer a more natural method you can fill a spray bottle with 1 part vinegar and 10 parts water. Spray onto your glass surfaces and use paper towels or a microfiber cloth to wipe clean.  Clean & treat wood decking: A good old fashion power washing will do wonders to bring life back into your decking. Make sure to follow up with a stain or sealant to ensure the deck is protected all through the summer!  Clean BBQ Grill: Give your grill spruce with a quick spray & wipe down on the outside.
